About this site
SourceThompson Falls sits just above a run of falls and rapids on the Blaeberry River, a 200 metre walk from camp. A second short trail follows the bank for about 500 metres, so the water is the whole reason to stop.
The site is small and open, with two first come, first served spots on gravel. It is user-maintained, so whatever you carry in comes back out with you.
Blaeberry is about 11 km away, but fuel is another stretch on at about 22 km, so gas up before the turnoff. Golden, about 24 km off, has 73 mountain bike trails.
