SourceWhitewater paddlers put in at Bluewater Bridge and run the creek down to the Bluewater Creek site, which is the main reason this small camp exists. It sits at an old road crossing up Bluewater Creek in the Golden area.
Five sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, user-maintained. Fishing is the other draw.
Blaeberry is about 18 km away and the Petro-Canada about 31 km, far enough that you want the tank full before you head up the creek. Abetibie Lake is about 7 km off, the Blackwater Lakes about 14 km, and Kicking Horse Bike Park, with 31 trails, about 30 km.
