About this site
SourceWaitabit Creek runs past a medium sized camp in the Golden area, and the creek is what you come for: fishing, moving water and not much else to complicate the evening.
The 13 sites are first come, first served, with gravel access, and the site is user maintained.
Blaeberry is about 12 km away, but the nearest fuel is about 25 km, so fill up before you leave the highway. Abetibie Lake is about 3 km from camp, and Kicking Horse Bike Park and its 31 trails sit about 24 km out.
