About this site

Source

Gorman Lake sits in a deep alpine bowl with trails looping both sides of the water. Take the northern one: it is less exposed to rock fall and runs about 800 m.

Camping is basic and first come, first served, with 3 spots, tent pads, tables and a toilet that gets flown out. Access is gravel and the site is user maintained.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is about 11 km away and the nearest fuel about 16 km. Dawn Mountain is roughly 10 km off, and the Kicking Horse Bike Park lists 31 trails about 11 km from camp.
