About this site
SourceHideaway sits on the west side of the Squamish River, about 26.5 km along the Squamish River Forest Service Road, and the track in is rough enough to want high clearance. Fishing is the listed activity, and the river shifts, so read the ground before you set up.
This is a culturally significant area for the Squamish Nation. Do not cut trees, and leave the place as you found it. Camping is first come, first served with no site count on record.
Whistler Village is about 30 km away and the nearest fuel about 27 km, so do the shopping before you leave the highway. The Lower Brandywine Meadows trailhead is about 14 km off, Grizzly Lake about 9 km, and the Molson Memorial Day Site about 11 km.
