Madeley Lake Campsite is free and first come, first served, about 14.6 km out of Whistler, which is unusual this close to town. The Rainbow Madeley Trail starts about 1.3 km away, and Woods Lake is the same short distance off.
No facilities are listed, so bring water and take your garbage with you when you go. The road in is paved.
Whistler covers supplies, with a Chevron about 13 km from camp, and the town's 667 mountain bike trails begin about 14.7 km away. Alexander Falls is about 5.6 km off and the Whistler Interpretive Forest about 13.2 km.
