SourceIreland Lake sits about 0.5 km from Nanton Ireland North Recreation Site, which is the whole reason to point a vehicle up here. Camping is free, the access is paved, and you are in the Powell River area.
There is nothing to buy nearby. Lang Bay is about 17 km away and the nearest fuel about the same, so arrive with a full tank, water and food for the whole stay.
The E-Branch cabin is about 12 km out and the A-Branch cabin a little beyond it, if you want a destination for a day of exploring.
