SourceBeaver North Recreation Site is a free camp near Beaver Lake in the Powell River area, with the shore about 0.4 km from the sites.
There is no charge and the access is paved. No facilities are recorded, so bring your own water, carry out what you carry in, and expect a night with nothing provided.
Supplies are a long way back. Lang Bay is about 18.4 km off and the nearest Shell about 19.8 km, so fill the tank before you turn in. The E-Branch cabin, about 8.8 km away, and the A-Branch cabin, about 9.5 km, make reasonable day targets.
