About this site
SourceDodd Lake belongs to the Powell Forest Canoe Route near Powell River, so a good share of the people here arrive by paddle rather than by tailgate. Swimming, fishing and a boat launch cover the rest of the day.
There are 12 sites, first come, first served, on gravel. The road in works for a 2WD vehicle and the site handles smaller motorhomes, though not much larger than that. It is user maintained, with no operator and no cleaning crew, so pack out everything you bring in.
Lang Bay and its gas station both sit about 18 km out, so top up there before the last stretch. Ireland Lake is about 1 km away, and the E-Branch cabin is about 11 km off along the route.
