SourceLittle Horseshoe Creek Recreation Site is a free spot in the Powell River area, with paved access and Little Horseshoe Lake about 1.4 km away. That short hop to water is most of the reason to come.
There is no fee and no amenities on record, so plan to be self-sufficient: your own water, your own cooking setup, and everything packed out again.
Lang Bay is the nearest town at about 16 km and the Shell is about 18 km out, so buy fuel before you commit to the back roads. The E-Branch and A-Branch cabins are both about 9 km away if you want a destination for the day.
