About this site
SourceNanton Lake is a link in the Powell Forest Canoe Route, and it camps like it: paddlers get their own pads near the portage take out for Ireland Lake, separate from the vehicle sites.
Access is 2WD gravel, and the site suits smaller motor homes rather than big rigs. There are 19 sites, first come, first served, and the place is user maintained.
Lang Bay is about 15 km away in the Powell River area, with a Shell at about the same distance. March Lake is about 2.5 km off, and the E-Branch and A-Branch cabins are both about 12 km out.
