About this site
SourceEllison Provincial Park covers 220 hectares of forested benchland above Okanagan Lake's northeastern shore, where the water breaks against rocky headlands and slips into sheltered coves. The dry, sunny climate keeps the season long, from spring well into fall.
About 71 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access, with swimming, fishing, a boat launch, and biking from camp. The headland trails reward attention: they are scenic and genuinely steep in places.
Fintry is about 7 km away and the nearest listed fuel about 12 km, so plan one stop on the way. Vernon's 209-trail riding network sits about 16 km off.
