About this site

Source

Oyama Lake is a fishing lake first, and it doubles as a water supply for communities below, so the level can swing a long way through the year. The rec site has five spots and a cartop launch at the entrance, next to the day use parking.

Everything is first come, first served, and the road in wants 4x4. Bring a canoe or a boat you can lift, since the launch is not built for trailering.

Oyama is about 7 km away and the nearest pumps, Parkway Gas, about 12 km. Ince Lake sits about 2 km off, the Postill trailhead parking about 14 km, and Vernon's 209 mountain bike trails about 17 km.
