SourceEvely Recreation Site sits 8.8 km from Fintry in the Vernon area, and the draw is simple: fishing and swimming, with the rest of the day left open.
All 48 sites are first come, first served at $18 a night, on gravel access. Two rules shape a stay here. You can camp 14 days at most, then you have to be gone another 14 before returning, and there is no garbage service, so plan to pack out everything you bring in.
Fuel is 8.4 km away at Little Kingdom, close enough to be an easy errand. Tompson Lake is 6.2 km off, and Vernon, with 209 mountain bike trails, is 15.2 km away.
