SourceBrunette Lake is a small fishing lake in the Winfield area with a rough road in and a campsite right by the water, about 0.2 km off. Fishing is the reason to make the trip.
Use is first come, first served and user-maintained, and no site count is on record, so treat it as a small spot rather than a campground with numbered pads.
Oyama is about 15 km away and the Centex about 17 km, close enough for a resupply run but far enough that you would rather arrive full. The Postill trailhead parking is about 10 km off, and Vernon's 209 mountain bike trails about 23 km.
