SourceIsland Lake is a working water supply, so levels fluctuate a lot and the shoreline moves with them. Small rainbow trout are plentiful, and ice fishing is not allowed.
It runs as a fee for service site with an operator on the ground: 34 campsites, first come, first served, $18 a night, gravel access.
Oyama is 13.8 km away with fuel at a Centex 14.9 km out, so pick up what you need on the way past. The Flyfish Lakes are 2 km off, the Postill trailhead parking is 11.2 km, and Vernon, 20.6 km away, has 209 mountain bike trails.
