About this site
SourceFly fishing only: that one rule shapes Doreen Lake, a small back country lake behind Winfield in Lake Country with plenty of rainbow trout. Canoes and small boats suit it, and there is a launch for them.
The site is user maintained, with 10 first come, first served sites and gravel access.
Lavington is about 15 km away and the nearest fuel, a Centex, is the same distance, an easy stop on the drive up. The Postill trailhead parking is about 13 km off, and Vernon, with 209 mountain bike trails, is about 21 km.
