About this site
SourceMckinley Lake has a small site at its west end in the Horsefly area. In fall the salmon move into the lake, and watching that from camp is the reason to time a trip for then.
There are 5 small sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, with a rough boat launch. A Department of Fisheries and Oceans water control structure sits at the site.
Black Creek is about 7 km away, but the nearest fuel is about 30 km out, a long way to backtrack. Doreen Lake is about 3 km off.
