About this site
SourceNone of the sites at Tisdall Lake are on the shoreline. They sit back in the trees, large and level, which is good news if you are parking a trailer and less good if you wanted to watch the water from your chair.
There are 12 sites, first come, first served, on gravel, and the boat launch is built for a trailered boat rather than a car-top. The lake holds plenty of small rainbows, so expect a numbers day rather than a trophy one.
Black Creek is about 10 km away, but the nearest fuel is about 31 km out, so do not leave that to chance. Doreen Lake sits about 7 km off.
