SourceBeach camping is the pitch at Crooked Lake South, in the Horsefly area: sites on the sand, looking out at the lake with mountains behind it.
Room for two parties, first come, first served, with a boat launch and gravel access. Since you are parked on the sand, a large tow-behind camper can have trouble getting in, so smaller is better.
Hendrix Lake is about 20 km away, and fuel is a haul: the Race Trac is roughly 47 km off, so the gas stop happens well before you get here.
