About this site
SourcePaddlers know this one. Split Creek is an open grassy bench above the Blaeberry River in the Golden area, and it makes a good take-out for a run down the Blaeberry from the put-in below Mummery Creek, grade 2 water with braided sections.
The 2 sites are first come, first served, on gravel access, and the site is user maintained.
Blaeberry is about 16 km away and a Petro-Canada about 24 km, so fuel up in town on the way. Twin Lakes are about 12 km out, and Golden's 73 mountain bike trails about 26 km.
