SourceMarquart Lake Recreation Site works for people who want to fish in the morning and ride in the afternoon. The lake is about 0.5 km from camp, and the country around it carries mountain biking along with ATV and dirt bike routes.
The 13 sites are first come, first served, at $15 a night on gravel, and many of them are open enough to take a bigger unit.
Merritt is the place to sort supplies and fuel before you head out. Lundbom Grasslands is about 3 km from camp, Godey Creek about 7 km, and the Iron Mountain bike trails about 8 km.
