SourceYou walk the last stretch to High Lake, but not far. It is a small fishing lake, and the short approach is easy enough that gear is not a problem.
One campsite, first come, first served, off gravel road, and the water is under half a kilometre away. Upkeep is on the users, so carry your garbage back out with you.
Coldstream and its gas station are both about 8 km away, so groceries and fuel are quick. Vernon, about 14 km off, has 209 mountain bike trails for a day away from the water.
