About this site
SourceStreak Lake is a medium-sized fishing lake near Vernon with a very small footprint for camping: one site with a picnic table above the water, and a second table down beside the lake that suits a day stop better than a night.
It is first come, first served and user-maintained, the access is four-wheel drive only, and launching is car-top, so bring a canoe rather than a trailer.
Oyama is about 10 km away and fuel about the same, so the supply run is short. High Lake is about 2 km off, and Vernon, about 16 km away, has 209 mountain bike trails.
