About this site
SourceAn old mill site on the shore of Nadina Lake now holds five camping spots in semi-open forest, near Houston. The lake is a big one, and the boat launch is what most visitors are after.
Camping is first come, first served. The access road is narrow, and dead pine along it means downed trees are a recurring problem, so a large RV or trailer is a bad idea. Gravel the whole way in.
Come provisioned. Noralee is about 36 km off and the nearest fuel, a Co-op cardlock, about 58 km, which is not a drive you want to make twice. Jewell Lake is about 18 km away.
