Town is a proper trip from here: Kaslo is about 13.1 km away and the Husky for fuel about 13.3 km, so make one run rather than three.
Milford Lake is the close water, about 2.4 km off. Further out, the Kaslo Interpretive Forest is about 13.8 km and the Lyle Creek trailhead about 14.7 km.
