SourceUp in the sub-alpine near Kaslo, this small site pays back the drive with a view down Kootenay Lake. Getting there needs four-wheel drive and high clearance.
There are 2 sites, first come, first served, with the lake a short walk away and fishing the main activity.
Kaslo is about 11 km off, with fuel at the Husky and the Kaslo Interpretive Forest at roughly the same distance. The Lyle Creek trailhead is about 14 km out.
