About this site

Source

Getting to Fletcher Lake means walking. A steep, rustic trail starts on an old skid road in a cutblock and climbs through thick sub-alpine forest to the east end of the lake, in the Nelson area.

Camping is first come, first served, two sites, with gravel road access to the start. Grizzlies use this ground heavily, so cook well away from where you sleep, store food properly, and make noise as you climb.

Kaslo is about 9 km away with an Esso about 7 km, so the town run is short. The Woodbury trailhead is roughly 7 km off and the Kaslo Interpretive Forest about 8 km.
