About this site
SourcePowder Beach is a small, secluded beach on the east side of Kootenay Lake. There is a boat launch here and the water is the whole point.
The track in wants four-wheel drive. Camping is first come, first served, and this is an undeveloped beach spot rather than a campground, so bring what you need for the night.
Kaslo is about 3.3 km away with an Esso about 2.8 km out, so restocking is easy. Mirror Lake sits about 3 km off, the Kaslo Interpretive Forest about 7 km, and the Woodbury trailhead about 16 km.
