About this site
SourceMontague Harbour Marine Park on Galiano Island climbs from five metres below sea level to a 180 m rocky summit, taking in beaches, tidal lagoons, meadows and forest on the way up. Gray Peninsula, inside the park, carries a human history reaching back long before Spanish explorers arrived in 1792.
About 44 sites are listed, vehicle-accessible and walk-in, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, and 35 mooring buoys wait in the sheltered harbour for those arriving by water. Swimming, fishing, hiking and biking fill the shore days.
Galiano's village area is about 4 km away, with the island's fuel about 7 km from camp.
