About this site

Source

Taylor Arm Provincial Park exists for one job: group camping near the shores of Sproat Lake, west of Port Alberni. Six group campsites sit across the highway from the water, linked to the lake by a trail through a highway underpass, and the whole park runs on reservations.

The woods are pleasant, the beaches undeveloped, and two day-use areas serve the lake: one at the end of the campground trail, the other at Camp 10, half a kilometre west of the group parking. Swimming, fishing, boating and hiking cover the program.

Great Central is about 7 km away, with the nearest listed fuel about 12 km, so stock the group properly before arriving.
