About this site
SourceSproat Lake does the heavy lifting at Snow Creek, on the southeast shore in the Port Alberni area. There is a beach, a launch for small boats and enough open water for waterskiing and windsurfing, and anglers use it too.
The 30 sites are first come, first served at $20 a night, and it is cash only, so bring bills. Access is gravel.
Great Central is about 15 km away, and the nearest fuel is about 22 km off, so sort that out before you head down the lake. The 5040 NW Ridge trailhead is about 13 km out, First Lake about 4 km, and the riding at Funship about 28 km.
