About this site
SourcePebble Beach is what the name says: a small protected bay on the east shore of Kootenay Lake near Crawford Bay, with a pebble beach ringed by exposed rock.
Four sites here, first come, first served, reached on gravel. Swimming and sunbathing are the main reasons people come, with fishing, hiking and picnicking to fill the rest of the day.
Riondel is about 5.3 km away, with fuel roughly 11 km on at the Kaslo Esso. The Plaid Lake trailhead is about 13 km off, the Kaslo Interpretive Forest about 14 km, and Fletcher Lake roughly 8 km from camp.
