About this site
SourceCairnes Creek marks the start of a wilderness trail with a long history. First Nations travellers used this route east out of the Columbia River Valley and through the Rockies for generations, on the way to bison country. The trail, not the amenities, is why you stop here.
Use is first come, first served with gravel access, and no site count is on record, so plan for rough, simple camping rather than a laid-out site.
