About this site
SourceWhere the Valenciennes River meets the Bush River, two sites double as the trailhead for the Valenciennes River trail. That trail runs a narrow, steep gorge, and the notes on it mention exposed sections, so it is not a casual stroll with small kids.
Both sites are first come, first served, with gravel access and user maintenance, meaning nobody is coming through behind you to tidy up.
This is a long way in by road. Blaeberry is about 46 km away and the nearest fuel about 60 km, so top up in Golden and bring what you need for the whole stay.
