About this site
SourceMoffat Lake is a remote open site in the Horsefly area with defined campsites set above the water. Beetle-killed trees were cleared out, so the camp is more open than the forest around it. It works mainly as a hunting base in the fall, with fishing the rest of the year.
There are 3 sites, first come, first served, on gravel road access, with no facilities listed.
Black Creek is about 19 km away and the nearest fuel, the Race Trac, is roughly 32 km, so leave town full. Murphy Lake is about 14 km off.
