SourceSummer Lake spreads its camping across three areas near the water in the Cranbrook area. Fishing and hiking are what there is to do, and the lake is a short walk from the sites.
Six sites, first come, first served, on gravel access. Camping here is plain, with the lake and the trails doing the work.
For supplies, Fort Steele is about 23 km out, with a Centex about 22 km out for fuel, so a single trip in handles both. Closer to camp, Wildhorse Warm Springs is about 8 km away, which is a good reason to stay the extra night, and Lakit Lookout is roughly 15 km.
