About this site
SourceWhere Quinn Creek runs into the Bull River, 40 Mile Camp puts a handful of sites on the bank in the Fernie area. Fishing is the reason to be here, with creek and river both within reach of the tents.
Five sites, first come, first served, on gravel. It is a small, plain camp, which suits a night on the way through as well as a few days working the river.
Sparwood is about 21 km away, and Sparwood Heights Foods, roughly 20 km out, handles fuel and groceries together. Wildhorse Warm Springs is about 23 km from camp and Summer Lake roughly 17 km.
