About this site
SourceThe shape of the lake is the appeal here. Mosquito Lake has an irregular edge with small bays you can only reach by water, so a canoe or a small boat turns an afternoon into an exploration. Swimming and fishing are both good.
Three sites, first come, first served, with a boat launch and gravel access. Families use it as a base camp and stay put for a few days.
Glenbank is about 21 km away, and the closest fuel is a Canco at roughly 20 km, so the Canco is worth a stop on the way by. Little Mosquito Lake is about 0.5 km away.
