SourceSites at Catherine Lake are tucked along the shoreline in the trees, so there is more privacy here than the small size suggests, and you can pick grassy or treed ground. The lake, about 0.4 km from camp, suits canoes and cartop boats, and the fishing is why most people come.
Four sites, first come, first served, on gravel access. The site is user-maintained, so leave it as you would want to find it.
Halcyon is about 14 km away and the nearest fuel, a Canco, roughly 21 km, so sort fuel on the way in. Halfway Hot Springs is about 17 km from camp, which is a good reason to plan a second night.
