About this site
SourceCameron Lake runs about 2 km long with a marshy shoreline and a mud bottom, which tells you what to bring: a canoe or a cartop boat, not a ski boat. Fishing is the point, and this lake near Nakusp has a following for it.
Four sites, first come, first served, on gravel, about 0.6 km from the water. The camp faces east, so it takes the early sun and sits in the shade of mature trees later in the day.
Glenbank is about 17 km away and the nearest fuel, a Canco, roughly 16 km, so neither is far if you forget something.
