About this site
SourceWhat draws people up here is the walk to the toe of the Mummery Glacier, 2.3 km one way from the recreation site in the Golden area. ATVs are strictly prohibited on the trail.
The site is listed with a single campsite, first come, first served, and the road in calls for a four-wheel drive vehicle. It is user-maintained, which is another way of saying you are on your own out there.
Stock up first. Blaeberry is about 31 km away and the nearest fuel, at the Yoho Brothers Trading Post, roughly 36 km, which is too far to gamble on. Waitabit Lake is about 9 km from camp.
