About this site
SourceThree camping areas ring Grizzly Lake, near Lavington, a large lake with good fishing that is open for camping through a collaboration between the Duteau Creek watershed and the Regional District of North Okanagan. The site is user maintained, so pack out what you carry in.
There are 23 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, with a boat launch on the water.
Lavington is about 17 km away and a Canco about the same, so call that the resupply stop. Specs Lakes is under a kilometre from camp, the Postill trailhead parking about 14 km, and Vernon, about 25 km away, has 209 mountain bike trails.
