About this site
SourceA small beach and a dock on La Salle Lakes, in the McBride area, make this as much a swimming stop as a campsite. The water is about 0.5 km from the sites and the picnic side of it gets plenty of use.
There are 20 sites, first come, first served on gravel access.
Goat River is about 6 km away, and the Goat River trailhead about 11 km if you want a walk. Fuel is the catch: the nearest pumps on record are about 42 km out, so do not leave the highway on a low tank.
