SourceA waterfall within walking distance is the selling point here. Beaver River Falls is about 0.6 km from the campsites, close enough to visit before breakfast.
There are 10 sites, first come, first served, on gravel, and the same ground doubles as a picnic site. Fishing is the other thing people do.
McBride is about 11 km away with fuel at the Esso a similar distance, so it is an easy run for anything you forget. Horseshoe Lake is about 9 km off, the Halfway Viewpoint about 11 km, and the Lucille parking lot and alpine cabin about 12 km.
