SourceClear Lake puts its campsites right along the shore in the Prince George area, with a cartop boat launch at each end of the site so nobody has far to carry a canoe. There is extra parking for day users as well.
Room for 3 camping parties, first come, first served, on gravel. Fire rings, tables and pit toilets are the standard kit here, which covers a weekend of fishing without hauling anything elaborate.
Mud River is about 11 km away and the nearest fuel, a Petro-Canada, is about 18 km, so handle gas before you head out. The Shesta picnic site is about 5 km off.
