SourceMature spruce and deciduous trees line the shore at Punchaw Lake, and the rec site puts five camping parties in among them, in the Prince George area. Fishing is the main activity.
You get tables, fire rings and a pit toilet, plus an unimproved gravel boat launch for putting something small on the water. First come, first served, gravel road in.
Punchaw is about 12 km from camp, but the nearest fuel is a Tempo about 30 km out, so the gas stop is worth planning into the drive. The lake itself is about 1 km from the sites.
