SourceSwimming, fishing and a boat launch on a small lake make Shesta a good short-hop camp in the Prince George area. The site is open, right at the water, with tables, fire rings and a pit toilet.
There are 2 sites, first come, first served. Access is rated four-wheel drive, and the camping area suits tents and small RVs rather than big units. The Shesta picnic site is about 2 km along if you want a day spot away from camp.
Mud River is about 15 km away and the Petro-Canada about 21 km, so plan a stop on the way out.
