SourceBurden Lake is a fishing camp first. The lake is stocked every year with Blackwater strain rainbow trout, and the pads sit in a semi-open area along the shore, so the water is a few steps from the tent.
There are 12 camping pads, first come, first served, on gravel, with an unimproved boat launch, so nothing too big. Swimming is right there too.
Mackenzie is about 36 km away for supplies and fuel about 35 km, so do the shopping there on the way through. Head Lake is about 6 km from camp.
