About this site
SourceWilliston Reservoir stretches out in front of this site near Mackenzie, on ground that was logged years back. Most of the camping is open, with mature spruce and aspen standing between pads, and the boat launch is the main reason people come.
There are 17 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access. The open layout means little screening between neighbours, so expect to see the whole camp from your pad.
Mackenzie is about 36 km away and fuel roughly 35 km, so fill up in town and bring what you need for the whole stay. Maybeline Lake is about 6.5 km off.
